The Masonic hall is situated on Winmarleigh Street in Warrington town centre, easily accessible from the town centre, bus station, and Central railway station and five minutes’ walk from Bank Quay railway station. Museum opening times are Wednesday 9.30 am – 12.00 noon, other times by appointment, which can be made using the contact us page. Admission is free of charge. Average visit time is 30 minutes to 1 hour.
The Masonic hall has level access into the building and disabled parking may be arranged by appointment.
The Museum is situated on the mezzanine floor of the Masonic Hall in a former committee room; there is a lift to the first floor where the Masonic meeting rooms are located and 4 steps down to the museum.
Toilet and baby changing facilities are on the ground floor. On site catering is available for larger parties.
Guided Tours and talks
Tours and talks are available on request for interested groups, ladies and gentleman who are not masons are particularly welcome as are non Masonic groups. No charge is made but a donation for the upkeep and future development of the museum is appreciated.
Archives and books can be made available by appointment for Masonic, family or social history research. A nominal charge is payable, please contact us for further information.
